The Titan's oversized armature (30% larger compared to 540-sized armatures) features 12 turns of pure copper wire for big torque and increased power-handling capabilities. The integrated cooling fan lowers running temperatures for more fun behind the wheel. The Titan 12T requires very little maintenance and provides consistent torque and high speeds run-after-run, without fading. Beyond the specs, the Titan 12T is made for dirt-roosting torque, lightning-quick acceleration, big-air jumps, and just about any other 4-wheel fun that demands real horsepower.
The XL-5 Electronic Speed Control handles the elements while smoothly supplying power to the motor. This high-performance ESC packs impressive features that are normally only found on more expensive high-end replacement units. The XL-5 features a completely waterproof design, three throttle profiles, low voltage detection, Thermal Shutdown Protection, 4-7 cell NiMH and 2-cell LiPo compatibility, and built-in BEC. High frequency operation combined with ultra-low resistance make the XL-5 an efficient and ultra-smooth fully proportional speed control. An all-terrain truck needs a powerful steering servo for responsive performance, and Traxxas delivers with the #2056 high-torque servo. This waterproof steering servo uses O-ring seals to keep the fun going when things get wet. Waterproof for all-weather action, the #2056 servo provides 80 oz-in of steering muscle. That's twice the power of typical "standard" servos.
The Rustler 4X4's innovative receiver box is fully waterproof, yet it's easy to access the receiver. The unique patented design holds a 3-channel micro receiver that saves weight and provides reliable, long-range RC performance.
The TQ 2.4GHz micro receiver fits easily into almost any vehicle, and features dual channel-1 steering outputs. The integrated LINK button makes it fast and easy to bind the receiver, and the two-color LED indicates power-on and bind status for fool-proof control and convenience. In the event of signal loss due to an accidental transmitter switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The Fail Safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be set or activated.
Rustler 4X4 rides on a new low-CG chassis that has been lengthened 20 mm for extra stability. The low center of gravity and wide track width helps the Rustler 4X4 stay planted in the turns for thrilling high speed fun.

Tough reinforced bumpers protect the chassis against impacts. The specially designed front bumper provides a high approach angle that allows the Rustler to climb up and over obstacles with ease. The rear bumper easily accepts a wheelie bar to keep the Rustler's explosive power under control.
The Rustler’s large 2.8” black wheels provide terrain-conquering ground clearance and a commanding presence. Aggressive Talon™ EXT tires dig into dirt and grass for outstanding 4X4 traction. The EXT’s tire compound provides extra durability on pavement with a unique design that resists “ballooning” at high speeds.
The Rustler's oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilize X-ring technology for a perfect seal and super-smooth performance. They are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons. Features include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and spring clips to precisely change the ride height and spring pre-load. They can be renewed in minutes with our inexpensive rebuild kits.
Rustler 4X4 uses the same telescoping universal-joint driveshafts as the high-performance Rustler 4X4 VXL. Designed for increased strength and articulation, Traxxas U-joint driveshafts allow for maximum suspension movement resulting in longer travel and tighter turning.
Rustler 4X4's differentials represent the state of the art in power handling and efficiency. Steel gears in the differentials are ready to handle brushless power without costly upgrades. Precision silicone gaskets and X-ring seals allow the diffs to be tuned for specific running conditions by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside them. Differential access for tuning is quick and easy. Just remove the front or rear cover and the entire differential slides right out.
No part of the Rustler 4X4 was overlooked in the quest for durability, precision, and performance. The dual-bellcrank design pivots smoothly in the harshest conditions, and an integrated cam-type servo saver protects the servo gears from crash impacts without sacrificing steering precision.
Extreme brushless horsepower is never an afterthought at Traxxas. The Rustler 4X4 driveline is built to handle power for today and accommodate future power upgrades down the road. The spur gear features rugged 0.8 module/32-pitch teeth for total reliability no matter how much power you pour on.
Another Traxxas exclusive, Rustler 4X4's patented slipper clutch design uses special semi-metallic friction material and finned aluminum alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent traction control. The clutch is easily adjusted without disassembly or removal.
The Rustler’s innovative battery hold down accommodates traditional flat battery packs as well as “hump” packs. A beefed up latch provides solid locking action to keep batteries secure no matter how wild the action gets.
The functional rear wing reduces drag while still providing valuable downforce for high speed stability. The wing mounts directly to the internal body reinforcements for lasting durability.
Rustler’s clipless ProGraphix® body mounts on specially designed shock towers. The easy-to-use latch unlocks instantly with the quick swipe of a thumb and locks again with a noticeable detent to let you know it’s securely fastened.
Rustler 4X4 uses a rugged all-new clipless body latching system for secure mounting and easy one-handed removal. The latching system incorporates an internal body cage that greatly strengthens the body for long life. The body comes pre-painted and cut with decals already applied.
