The Wing Dragon 500 is the ultimate RC trainer aircraft. Made with a durable plastic resin fuselage that is virtually indestructible in a crash. The large 55 inch wingspan and wide wing chord make the WD500 very easy to fly and docile enough to land dead-stick (as shown in the video below.) The WD500 also has enough wing area to thermal and fly like a traditional powered glider ! The 500 class high torque brushless motor coupled with the tri-bladed propeller will provide enough power for the Wing Dragon 500 to perform mild aerobatics.

Features an on-board 640x480 resolution video camera that will allow you to take in flight videos from within the main canopy of the aircraft and then upload them to your PC or Mac computer via USB cable. Share your flight videos in .mov format with friends and family.

The large size (55.1 inch wingspan) of the Wing Dragon 500 makes it easy see from a far distance. Due to its size, it can also handle winds up to 30 MPH!

Flight times of 15-18 minutes are easily achievable with the included 11.1 volt 1300 mah lipoly battery pack.

The main wing is made from an EPO foam that is both stiff and lightweight. EPO foam is 5 times stronger than standard styrofoam. Its also easy to repair with any 5 minute epoxy glue.

Comes complete with a long range 4 Channel 2.4 GHZ radio system, Auto-Peak Detection Charger, 11.1 volt 1300 Mah Li-poly Battery and a 20 amp brushless speed control. All electronics are pre-installed from the factory to reduce setup times. Minor assembly required.
