Hi, this is Dave R. from Las Vegas, I just recently purchased the Large 1/5 scale Cessna 182 with optional flaps. Everyone at my air field was impressed with my new Cessna 182. This plane takes off within a few feet it has excellent power and flies so well, it's very relaxing to fly and you can do all kinds of aerobatics, thing you wouldn't normally do with a Cessna of this scale I just love to fly this plane and you can't beat the price. This comes with optional flaps that is another reason why I bought this plane. During my build of the Cessna I also installed the servos for the flaps. There's no directions on how to do this so I will let everyone know what I had to do to install them. First off you have to get to the aileron servo plug connection that is pre-installed in the wing and to do this I used a round carbon fiber rod to insert into the slot were the servo wire extension comes out. This is were the wings join together. The rod is used to push the black aileron servo and extension connector back through the wing past the slot were you insert the flap servo and black wire connector for flaps. Black flap servo connection must go through the wing first and then push the black aileron servo and extension connector through the wing second or you will never get the flap connector through the wing past the aileron and extension connector. Then epoxy your flap servo in. I had a great time doing my maiden the best thing was using the flaps and no throttle just floating around, the glide is excellent, I would make slow fly passes with flaps on down the runway past everyone. This is now one of my favorite electric to fly. Great job Parkflyers job well done. I like this plane and the price so much I thank I'm going to buy another one for back up.
