Parkflyers.

I really want to thank you about the oportunity to get that trainer. It is really amazing how strong it is to sustain a crash.

I have flown R/C airplanes before but it was about five years ago.

When I decided to return to the hobby. I got the begin Air Aircraft. I practiced a lot with the R/C flight Simulator before getting the begin air to the field.

When I flew the begin air the first time, I was great I really flew the airplane succesfully. I was very easy to preflight it, I personally use the 2cell li poly batteries. I can fly this airplane for about 15 to 22 minutes at full power or you can get up to 26 minutes on half power. With two of those batteries you can really enjoy electrical R/C flying. Get back to fuel NO WAY!!!!!!. For me, this is an ideal airplane. You can fly it anywhere and it is easy to carry, it's size is perfect.

In one of my flight, the airplane crash due to strong winds. It was really my foult. I thought, well I lost the aircraft. But I was surprised when I got closer to the airplane. The airplane was intact just few dents on the leading edge of the wing and bended landing gear. I just by hand fix the landing gear, use transparent tape to protect the leading edge and get back to air. This is really AMAZING!!!!

I was very happy to see the UPS man at my door the day after I ordered the Begin-Air. I have been flying R/C for years with a popular R/C club in lower NYS. I ordered the plane for its simplicity figuring that my 12yo son will have fun learning how to fly a 4 channel radio. Well, we opened the box to find everything that was advertised on your web site. The article in Backyard Flyer help to seal the deal. We look at the inclosed DVD and charged the battery in accordance with the directions. While the battery was charging we applied the decals. After a full charge was reached, we assembled the wings, tail section and installed the battery. placing the wings on and taking it to our club's field in Rockland Co. NY. Well, we never got it off the ground due to a faulty ESC. After we replaced the ESC we finally got off the ground. The overall performance is good for a first time aileron trainer (a little sluggish for me) it's forgiving flight characteristic gave my son plenty of time to react to changes in flight attitudes. Very nice job Parkflyers.com.

Sincerely,

R. A. P.

Hi Marc,
I just recently purchased a Begin Air to start progressing to a 4
channel radio and to fly a plane with ailerons. This Begin Air is very
tough which is ideal for me. First hand launch, it rolled (my fault) and
from 8ft., slammed the ground. Glue time! At this point, after numerous
mishaps (again, my fault), it flys great and I enjoy very minute of it.
Part of the wing and a chunk of the aileron is missing, but it flies
like a champ. Great plane! Of course, I now have confidence in flying
this plane and may be ready for the next Parkflyers.

Dear Parkflyers,

Well, I received this this plane about four months ago as my first plane. I had never flown anything before. I had played a lot of Microsoft Flight Simulator {it really helped!}, so I did have some understanding of how planes fly. Anyway, I put it together in about 15 minutes and after the battery charged in the 3 given hours,I took it outside to range test. {It would be really nice if you included a quick charger, really would be apprecieated by begginers} Well, I did the range test and I had a faulty reciever, so I called mark the next day and he shipped a new 6ch receiver to me! This is a lot better than other companies. I got the new reciever in about 3 days and it worked fine. So, now to flying. I started by throwing and gliding the plane to a landing. This plane will glide very far and is very easy to land. After doing this a few times, I began to get brave and began to do half circles and then full circles. After two days I was already doing controlled circuits around my field, and mind you, that was a very small field to be learning in. {inpatience} Anyway, about the plane, it is very stable and controllable and very docile on the lowest settings, very good for a begginer. It is also very very resilient. I have smashed this plane into the ground head on, and things will fly off, but all you usually have to do is put it back together and go fly. The tail wing is a little fragile but the wing and fuselage are made of stone. Did you know that you can fix this plane with practically anything, such as packing tape and CA glue? Flight times were about 12 minutes, not bad. Aerobatically, I was never able to do much more than a loop or stall turn, but that may be because by the time I was ready to do these maneuvers, I had really beaten this plane up so much with my insanely daring flying habits that it was surprising that it was still flying. If you like the idea of experimenting and modifying planes, this one is perfect. You would find it impossible to believe all the things I have modified and everything it has been through. If you are wondering about the components for moving up later, then this plane is perfect. I am now looking at what ARF I could put its components in. It would work very well with a number of GWS and Great Planes ARF's, and you would have to buy very little to complete it. This is not the best looking plane around but its not ugly either {if you want looks, go with the Cessna}. There are a few things that could be improved on this plane, but with the components it comes with {completely reusable} it is in my opinion one of the best begginer planes on the market and definitely a good buy for the money.

When I was assembling this plane, I was a bit skeptical about it to be quite honest. When I decided to take it to the field, I had to hand-launch due to the length of the grass at the park. When I released the Begin-Air, it was the straightest, most gentle climb I've ever experienced with a R/C model. Controls are gentle and I began to wonder why this is deemed an intermediate. Landings are almost automatic if you let it glide in on its own but be forewarned, this plane can glide for a very long time! Oustanding plane, I think, even for a beginner!

The happily stand behind their product and I will definitely try more of their products. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with this plane. I did change to a Poly-Li battery to increase my flight times because I just can't get enough!

Thanks for the prompt rely MM,

The guy teaching me how to fly said i could have not
chosen a better plane to learn from. He is now going
to teach my younger brother and he gave him a 5 ch
Hitech radio with receiver (wish he'd given that to me
instead).

My question now is can i buy a begin air without the
transmitter and reciever?

Thnaks again

Sir,
I recently purchase a Begin-Air RTF 4 Channel Aircraft from you
a few months ago....

I really enjoy flying this bird, and it is really durable!!!

It WILL loop, roll, fly inverted, and Cuban-8's. It will not
knife edge, the rolls are rough, and it will not knife edge.

A terrific plane to learn 4 channel flying. My son and I have been learning how to fly with V tail, 3 channel aircraft's and thought it was time to move up to a true 4 channel plane. The Begin Air arrived in excellent condition. The AC wall charger took awhile to charge up the battery and the lack of a quick charger for field use was a slight let down. Luckily, I had other quick field chargers to take out with us so that we could try our new plane more than once. I highly recommend reading R/C Universe's review on this aircraft as it does help set it up properly before you take your first flight. We were nervous when we launched the Begin Air but she took off straight and smooth and within seconds we were flying a 4 channel aircraft. This plane does loops, roll overs and can make smooth landings as the Parkflyer website and reviews state. We will keep flying this baby until we feel comfortable before moving up to the faster 4 - 6 channel aircraft's.

Make sure that you order an extra battery so that you do not have to wait until your first battery is charged again. Many thanks to Parkflyers for helping my son and I learn how to fly a 4 channel plane without having to spend a small fortune.

I live on the 14th fairway of one of Northern California's most beautiful golf courses. But when I wake up every morning, grabbing my clubs and hitting the fairways is not what I think of. Instead, I jump out of bed, grab my  BeginAir and take it for a flight. Immediately after take off I zoom over the trees, zip by the sand traps and then hover over the greens. Mornings are the best time to fly, before the golfers take over my run way. My planes have endured numerous off field landings and have even spent a night or two up in the trees. I have landed sideways, up side down and dropped out of the sky on the tail. None of these mishaps were my fault of course, I was distracted by my wife calling me to breakfast. But regardless to why these off field landings occurred, my planes endured all the abuse that I have given them. They are all still flying and in great shape. For those of you who haven't had the opportunity to fly these planes, you are missing out on a lot of fun.

I'm having a blast with my Begin-Air!!! I am no expert by any means, but when I go to the field to fly the Begin-Air I always have a great afternoon. This plane is "sure footed" and "precise".It's like it knows it's an airplane and is ready to go to work!

On several occasions I have hit the ground hard(not a planned event) but this plane has stayed together and has never messed up it's flying geometry. It's nice to have a plane that lets me enjoy every "next" flight as much as I enjoyed the last one.

Thanks for all the fun,

Dear Parkflyers,

I am currently in the beginning stages of teaching myself how to fly RC and I knew I was going to crash during this learning curve so I set out to find a plane that could take the initial abuse but yet be forgiving in flight. When I first discovered the Beginner Air I just had to have it. As a beginner I needed a plane that was a high wing design in a pusher configuration, made out of durable materials and yet have affordable replacement parts readily available. Surprisingly, this plane had it all including ailerons. I know what your thinking, ailerons for a trainer! Well I figured if I’m going to learn I may as well learn on a 4 channel plane so I decided to purchase the Beginner Air.

When I received the plane I promptly assembled it and charged the included NiCad battery pack. I decided to purchase six Li-Poly battery packs and six chargers. After weighing the both the NiCad and Li-Poly battery packs I discovered that one Li-Poly battery pack was half the weight of the included NiCad pack.

After some significant training on a G3 flight sim I felt ready to give it a try. I went to a local park and placed the plane on a paved bike path facing the wind I gave it full throttle with a little up elevator and it took off within 8 feet as I flew I made five nice banking turns and got a little to close to a tree, the tree mangled the elevator and rudder and the plane promptly went nose first into the dirt. I assessed the damage and discovered the plane was perfectly fine except for the tail feathers. After replacing the elevator and rudder I took off from the bike path once again and this time I was able to fly the plane without incidence, the plane flew great and had plenty of power, as I became more comfortable I tried two loops and three roles. I was amazed at how stable the plane was for me, even at low speeds it just seems to glide I’m guessing this is because the plane has a fairly low wing loading just over 9 oz/sq.ft. In my honest opinion if your looking for an affordable plane with readily available spare parts at a reasonable price look no further the Beginner Air has it all.

Sincerely,
Joe M

I have been having a blast with the Begin Air Park Flyer. It has satisfied my need to fly during the times when my field is buried under snow.

Dear Parkflyers,

I have been having a lot of fun flying my BeginAir and wanted to thank
you for a great plane at a very reasonable price. The BeginAir is my
first plane with rudder-aileron-elevator-throttle control and I am having
a ball learning to do aerobatics with it. The plane has plenty of power
and is easy to fly. I am a novice at RC flying and I am thankful that
the BeginAir is such a forgiving airplane. I have not crashed it yet but
it is so well built that I am sure that it would survive with little or
no damage. Since I fly regularly in a grassy field, I removed the main
landing gear and the BeginAir lands on its belly with the greatest of
ease. Although the flight time is good with one battery, I will be
getting at least one more battery so that I can have even more FUN. (You
might consider adding a second battery to the package as an option.)

Also, your support is outstanding. My BeginAir arrived with a damaged
wing due to rough handling during shipment. Your people sent me a new
wing immediately! I am impressed! I intend to do more business with
your company in the future and will recommend you to my friends.

Thanks again,
Ray Boyles

Dear Parkflyers,
I recently bought a BeginAir RTF and I was amazed how easy it was to put
together. It took me about 10minutes. Next, all I had to do was charge the
battery, put in 8aa's in the radio and thats it! When I first flew the
plane, I was absolutely amazed on how EASY it was. It handles great at low
and hi speeds. Doing backflips are alot of fun! The average flying time is
about 15minutes. I think Parkflyers made an AWESOME choice in selling the
Begin Air RTF.....I witnessed it first hand and I think whoever reads this
is in denial about a trainer.....PLEASE do not be intimidated! This airplane
is amazing! You will be very satisfied! I give this plane a 10 for fun and
toughness. I would highly recommend buying a wireless camera and attaching
it on the Begin Air so you can watch yourself live! Its really amazing!
Great job Parkflyers!

Dear Parkflyers,

I have 5 of the older Wing Dragons and gave a couple to Friends to Fly and Play with, They loved the older Dragon and we modified all of them with Graupner 480 Race engines. These planes were always taken to the field with other Larger Planes to fly and it always started the same, we flew the Wing Dragons first (What a Great Plane) and flew them through out the day. We had modified two wings with servos for FLAPS and mixed them to be ailerons also. This was so much fun to have Flaps and ailerons. Then I FOUND the new  Beginair! This Plane is going to go down in Radio Control History, 4-channel Radio and Receiver and large AILERONS on a Plane that is just Darn Fun to fly! This plane always gets flown the most in a day of flying and it is made very Tough in those cases of a rough landing or crash, there will be little or NO DAMAGE. The New BeginAir redesign brings it to NEW Heights with the Ailerons and Mixed Flaps (need a radio that mixes), so much so it has become a MUST to Own at least 2 to 4 of these Planes, because they just Fly and Fly and Fly with No trouble and a TON of FUN!

The BeginAir is a MUST to own, you will Fly it more than any other plane in your Hanger of Planes. Thanks Guys for the Upgrades to this plane. I can not think of anything else that needs to be done to this plane! Great Plane, YOU NEED at least one of these and you will be hooked!

To whom it may concern: I recently just bought your Begin airplane and
would like to tell you my Experience.
I've never flown R/C airplanes before, I thought I would give a shot. It
was frustrating at first because I didn't have a teacher
just read a little bit of information about it. I would like to say That
your plane is pretty tough plane I've crashed that thing I don't
know how many times and when I walk up to the plane and couldn't believe
that it was still in one piece, yea I had to get out the tape
a few times and fix the wing a little. But I would like to say that after
a couple of days of crashing that I did figure it out. I'm doing a lot
better
now I think it's a great plane for beginner's that's why I bought I didn't
want to spend a lot of money on expensive one wreck it first time and just
have a bunch of piece's left.

Thanks for the entertainment I've really enjoyed it.

After purchasing the Beginair and witnessing first hand the flight
characteristics I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that
wants to learn how to fly a REAL 4 Channel RC airplane.

The plane took off in less than 10 yards, and climbed well above the tree
line with ease. Aerobatics were a snap! I was looping and rolling the plane
within my first two flights. You can go fast or slow. I would recommend
getting an extra battery or 2 because you are not going to want to stop
flying once you get the hang of it. On top of all the fun, you gain the
skills needed to fly just about any RC plane out there! Thanks again to
parkflyers.com for the excellent service!

Sincerely,
Mark Meijer
