New 2026 Traxxas Rustler 2WD Brushless

The legendary Traxxas Rustler has been extensively upgraded for 2026. This 1/10-scale, rear-wheel-drive stadium truck combines the exciting handling of the Rustler platform with the powerful new VX3 brushless system.

Run it on a 2S LiPo battery for speeds over 40 mph, or install a 3S LiPo and unleash speeds of 60+ mph—without changing the gearing.

Whether you’re tearing across pavement, launching off jumps or throwing dirt at your favorite bash spot, the new Rustler delivers serious speed, control and durability.

New VX3 Brushless Power System

The waterproof VX3 electronic speed control is paired with the Velineon V3200 3200 kV brushless motor for explosive acceleration and dependable performance. A factory-installed cooling fan helps control temperatures during hard driving.

Choose from three programmable driving profiles:

Sport Mode: Forward, brake and reverse
Race Mode: Forward and brake
Training Mode: Reduces forward and reverse power by 50%

The Rustler includes the new TQi Sport Compact 2.4 GHz two-channel transmitter—the exact radio shown in the product gallery.

The compact design features a removable grip adapter for smaller hands, simple one-button programming, excellent operating range and a 30-model memory.

Traxxas Stability Management helps improve straight-line acceleration and braking on loose or slippery surfaces. It also helps maintain steering control during high-powered slides without reducing throttle or taking away the fun.
